Adaptive Mountain Bike Ride: Mt. Airy Forest Skills Course

  • Mt. Airy Bike Skills Course 4501 Ponderosa Ridge Road Cincinnati, OH, 45223 United States (map)

Ready to hit the trails? Join The Bridge Adaptive Sports & Recreation for an Adaptive Mountain Biking (aMTB) Skills Session at Mt. Airy Forest. Open to ages 16 and older, this beginner-friendly program offers individuals with disabilities the opportunity to experience the excitement of mountain biking in a safe, supportive environment.

Participants will practice riding skills on the Mt. Airy skills course using specialized adaptive bikes designed for stability, support, and control. Riders are welcome to bring their own adaptive mountain bike, recumbent, or handcycle, or borrow available equipment. No prior mountain biking experience is necessary—just come ready to learn, challenge yourself, and have fun outdoors.

Adaptive mountain biking makes trail riding more accessible through specialized equipment, opening the door to adventure, fitness, and connection in nature.

Volunteers with mountain biking experience are also needed to help guide riders. Volunteers must provide their own bike.

Space is limited. Registration is required for both riders and volunteers.
