Led by Nature as Medicine leaders Barbara Walker, PhD, and Kelly Lyle, MHA, MS, this weekly, 1-mile accessible walk supports physical activity, stress reduction, and mental clarity during the workday.

What: A one-mile walk (all abilities welcome). No special equipment or prior experience needed - just comfortable shoes and curiosity. Come as you are and experience how time in nature can be powerful medicine. We’ll spend about 30 minutes walking at a relaxed pace, creating space not only for gentle movement and fresh air, but also for connection. This walk is intentionally designed as a time to nurture well-being together – to move, slow down, share conversation, strengthen community, and remember that caring for ourselves and each other can be simple, restorative, and meaningful.

Skating programs at the Sawyer Point Riverfront Rink are supported by the Cincinnati Parks Foundation. Through our Finish the Riverfront campaign, we’re working to rebuild the 1000 Hands Playground and revitalize the roller rink, making Sawyer Point the place to play.
