De-Stress with Wellness Classes in Burnet Woods

During these difficult and strange times, many are feeling some of the negative effects of social distancing. It can be hard to forgo the community events and indoor wellness classes we all once took for granted. Luckily, Cincinnati Parks remain places for respite and rejuvenation during these stressful times. This is one of the reasons that we have continued our Stewards of Burnet Woods Wellness Series outdoors in Burnet Woods!The Cincinnati Parks Foundation is proud to support FREE community yoga and meditation classes while safely distanced and outdoors. Grab your yoga mat and de-stress while surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

Wellness Classes

WEDNESDAYS | 7:15-8:15PM
Surrounded by trees, blue skies and green grass, we meet at the historic bandstand located in Burnet Woods and embrace the presence of nature in yoga.

SATURDAYS | 11:00-11:45AM
Get closer with the community in this all-levels, beginner-friendly, peace-filled class. Simply bring yourself and your own yoga mat.

SUNDAYS | 7:00-7:45PM
Expect to practice some basics asanas (postures) to prepare your body to sit in meditation. Meditation assists with bringing greater balance and peace to your life and increases your ability to intuit, empathize, and act with compassion.

Improvements in Burnet Woods

More than offering wellness classes in Burnet Woods, we have supported major improvements throughout the park. Through the generosity of our donors (known as the Stewards of Burnet Woods) we have raised over $100,000 for several capital improvements. You may now enjoy improved trails and bridges, beautiful landscaping, improved lighting, new bike racks, and 40 new picnic tables throughout the park.
