Throw on your Mariah Carey holiday tunes because it officially ’tis the season! Now through December, there are tons of fun activities you can do with your friends and family in Cincinnati Parks! We’ve gathered a list of some of the best holiday activities so you can celebrate the season right.

FAMILY FUN ACTIVITIES

A ZINZINNATI HOLIDAY – KROHN CONSERVATORY
November 9, 2019 – January 5, 2020 | 10am-5pm, daily
Discover the beauty of Cincinnati’s German history at Cincinnati Parks’ Krohn Conservatory’s 2019 Holiday Show, “A Zinzinnati Holiday.” Surround yourself with chugging model trains, evergreens and poinsettias as you wander through the historical representations of Cincinnati’s historical architecture. Don’t miss this Cincinnati holiday tradition!
Tickets: $10/adults, $7/youth, Free/children 4 and under

ALMS PARK SERVICE PROJECT- ALMS PARK
November 16 | 9am-12pm
Does your family want to “give back” for the holidays? Volunteer with Parks Staff and members of the Alms Park Advisory Council to remove invasive species in Alms Park. Sign up online! Looking for another way to give back? Consider giving a gift to Cincinnati Parks Foundation for #GivingTuesday on December 3rd!

WINTER IN THE WOODLANDS- CALIFORNIA WOODS NATURE PRESERVE
December 6 | 6-8pmInclement weather date:  Saturday, December 7 at same time
Families and adults can follow a beautiful, luminaria-lit trail on a leisurely self-guided hike through the forest. Decorate your own home-baked holiday cookies, make crafts, listen to storytelling at the cabin or sit by a crackling fire enjoying lively acoustic music by Ceol Mohr.
Tickets: $6 per person.

FAMILY HOLIDAY CRAFTS WORKSHOP –  LaBOITEAUX WOODS NATURE PRESERVE
December 7 | 
2-4pm Families of all ages will enjoy creating a variety of crafts, many of them made with natural materials. The Secret Santa Room gives children a chance to make presents for family members.  Staff instruct and advise but the personal touches are up to you. Tickets: $6 per person or $25 per family

“EXPLORE NATURE!” DAY CAMPS FOR KIDS (GRADES K-3)

HARVEST DAY CAMP – AVON WOODS NATURE PRESERVE
November 27 | 9:30am-2:30pm Children will take in the end of the autumn season with games, hiking, unique animal encounters and Native American inspired crafting.
Tickets: $30 per child

ICE AGE! CAMP – CALIFORNIA WOODS PRESERVE 
December 23 | 9:30am-2:30pm Explore outside with your stone age tribe, sneak up on animals, find their homes and spot signs of ancient ice. More fun comes with group games and creating a prehistoric beast craft. Tickets: $30 per child

BLIZZARD BLAST! CAMP – BURNET WOODS
December 27 | 9:30am-2:30pm Join in on the fun and go exploring, play seasonal games, get creative with arts and crafts or relax with a story. It will be snow-much fun!
Tickets: 
$30 per child

LET’S HIBERNATE! CAMP – LaBOITEAUX WOODS PRESERVEDecember 30 | 9:30am-2:30pm
Wear your jammies, bring your stuffed animal pal and get cozy while learning about local hibernating animal friends.  This camp features games, stories, a hibernation themed craft and building  cozy dens.
Tickets: 
$30 per child

SEASONAL FUN FOR ADULTS

BERRIES AND BOWS HOLIDAY CENTERPIECE WORKSHOP- GIBSON HOUSE 
December 7 |1-3pm
Enjoy a glass of wine and learn how to make a fresh holiday centerpiece. Materials and instruction are provided by an award-winning designer but the creative touches are all yours. Feel free to bring personal embellishments to accent it for your home. Light refreshments are provided.  Tickets: $30 per person

BOTANY AND BREWS- KROHN CONSERVATORY
November 15 | 6-8pm
This season’s Botany and Brews features coffee! Come enjoy the Holiday Show with an educational program by Mark House and a special Woodburn Brewery limited-release beer made from “Krohn Grown” coffee.
Tickets: $15 per person (21+)
